Traditional Romanian plate with green background and brown and yellow design, decoration for the walls or shelves, made by hand in clay and painted in Horezu, Romania. It is made by a local artisan from clay and natural pigments using traditional techniques. In 2012, the representatives of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO decided that Horezu pottery meets the qualities to be included in the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
