195x143 Vintage Oltenia Carpet – Handmade Romanian Wool Rug

Authentic vintage Oltenia carpet from Romania, handmade on a traditional loom (război de țesut) approximately 30–40 years ago. Made of wool with a cotton warp, this medium-sized Romanian folk rug features a multitude of flowers on a black, beige and  dark red background.
Size: 195 × 143 cm.
The carpet is in good vintage condition, with no major defects. There is some color migration from the black wool into the beige border, while the ends have developed a subtle grey tone.
A beautiful handmade Romanian Oltenia rug, ideal for adding a traditional, rustic or eclectic touch to an interior.
