White Vintage Handwoven Wool Rug – Bistrița, Romania

A simple vintage handwoven rug from the Bistrița region of Romania, made from 100% wool. Natural white colour from the wool, little spots and signs of the time.
Its original purpose was a blanket, can be used like this or like a sofa cover or a carpet. 
Thick,  the carpet has minor unevenness along the edges and slight irregularities in the weave. It also shows gentle signs of age and use, consistent with its vintage nature.
