Large Romanian pillow case with a majestic bird embroidered and lace

Handmade Loom Towel with cross stitched design Repurposed in a Pillow Case – a delightful fusion of tradition and contemporary style. Crafted from an old handmade towel traditionally used to adorn walls, this repurposed pillow case brings a touch of nostalgia and character to any living space.

The towel was made in the loom about 70 years ago. We repurpused it in a pillow case, made by hand and in the sewing machine by a women from countryside Romania. One side is adorned with a majestic bird and floral design, cross stitched, the other is also with a floral border. The closure is made with buttons. At one of the endings it has a charming lace also made by hand with birds as design.
